Video Experiments on Matter – All About Solids

Matter is all around us and inside us too! Human body has all three forms of matter in it – bones and muscles are solids, blood is liquid and in our lungs we have oxygen and carbon-di-oxide.  This really amazes the mind. It is important to remember two facts about matter; 1-It takes space and 2-It has mass.

Think of a car – it too has all three forms of matter associated with it. The car is a solid when you think of the  entire structure. It intakes petrol which is a liquid and its tires are filled up with air.

Videos on matter have everything you need to know about matter and its forms – vocabulary, activities and experiments.

We hope you enjoy yourself and keep learning.

Watch this video for a few examples of circuits which demonstrate how electrical energy is converted to light energy and sound energy. This video shows various circuits with different variations of batteries, bulbs and buzzers. You will also observe how the energy from batteries travels through wires. A strong battery will have more power and will consequently result in a louder sound from the buzzer or a brighter lit bulb.

You will also develop an understanding of circuits in our daily life. What happens when we use a switch to turn on the light? How does pressing a button complete a circuit and make an electronic equipment work?
